About Leah

I am a graduate of Saint Louis University School of Law and have been a proud member of the Missouri Bar since 2006. From the start of my career, I focused on Family Law, Criminal Defense, Landlord Tenant matters and Personal Injury.

In 2006, I entered private practice, and soon after, I was honored to serve as the elected Prosecuting Attorney for Lincoln County for 8 years. In 2019, I founded Chaney Law Group with the mission of using my 20+ years of trial and courtroom experience to help clients navigate the challenges of the legal system.

Throughout my career, I have gained extensive experience in trial practice, advocacy, mediation and negotiation. I know that when people need an attorney, it often comes during one of the most stressful times in their lives. My goal is to stand beside my clients, fight for their rights, and ease the weight of the process. The legal system can feel overwhelming and intimidating - my role is to be  your voice when you feel unheard.
